Fazilia Success Story

“Farhat is a successful participant in the Fazilia first skill development and women empowerment course. She was given admission free of cost. She is 20 years old and is by birth hearing and vocally impaired. She attended a special education school of Nasheman situated in Wah till 5th grade. Due to lack of special education higher schools and financial constraints Farhat started working as a daily wager along with her family in the fields. She has been a victim of the society’s injustice due to her disability. Farhat has successfully weaved 12 shawls and Fazilia trust will soon be holding an exhibition to display her work. She is currently working as an instructor at Fazilia skills development centre. She strongly believes that her ability is stronger than her disability”.
