Fazilia educational programme focuses on at risk children while aiming for the education, protection, better upbringing and their well-being. The organization’s major concern is to reach the marginalized children who deserve an opportunity to make their lives better and have the ability and interest but lack the opportunity. Through this programme, we are not only providing education to the downtrodden, underprivileged and neglected children but are also aiming to improve their living conditions by providing them with opportunities. Education would give them exposure, awareness, access to better job opportunities and would act as a catalyst in class mobilization and better economic conditions.

• Quality and relevance of education as a fundamental element of development.
• Inclusion of children and communities left out of education process.
• Equal distribution of rights to every student.

FAZILIA INSTITUTIONS: 

Fazilia public secondary school(FPSS):

FPSS is a charity institution in village Garhi Sharif Taxilla Pakistan providing English medium quality education to the downtrodden and neglected children of the society. Fazilia School emphasizes on admitting the students from broken homes, children affected by drug addicted parents, children from hard areas, orphans and children from militancy effected regions. We aim to rehabilitate these children from the trauma they have been through and encourage them to become educated citizens.
A sub programme of FPSS includes “Sponsor a child programme” .This programme has been successfully providing free education to the needy students since 2009.At present 285 students are availing this facility.40% students are availing free education through sponsor a child programme. The school has achieved 80% result in Board of intermediate and secondary education Rawalpindi Pakistan.

Fazilia Girl’s Primary School Dhirkot AJK(FGPS):

The organization with the assistance of GGP Japan has constructed a primary school at the hill top of the most difficult terrain in a remote area of AJK to cater for the primary education of 300 girls of this neglected society. There was no educational facility within 5 km radius and the average school going age of the children of the area was ten years because of the non availability of educational facility and long distances involved to reach the school.

Fazilia School Peshawar:

Fazilia is running a school in Peshawar under its extended education support programme. Currently 150 students are benefitting from this facility.

Government Middle School Bolo Ghal AJK:

The organization constructed a building for 300 students of government middle school Bolo Ghal Dhirkot who were forced to sit under the trees due to the destruction of the building during the earth quake of 2005.

Fazilia Degree College for women(FDCW):

The organization is running women’s Degree College since 2013 in village Garhi Sharif . It is a small village located near Taxilla District Rawalpindi in Pakistan with the population of 50,000 people with no such educational facility available within 10 km radius. Girl’s higher education is not promoted in this area. The building was constructed by Fazilia on self help and with the help of individual donations. Presently there are 22 girls in this college. The college has produced 100% results in annual examination Board of intermediate and secondary education Rawalpindi Pakistan.

Fazilia Boarding Facility:

The boarding facility at FPSS was constructed in order to ensure that no child is denied education because of unavailability of schools in nearby region. Fazilia boarding facility is a fully equipped living facility which caters for the basic living condition along with the nutritional needs of the children. This facility consists of trained wardens; it is a safe have to protect children from chaotic family life, vulnerability and deprivation. At present there are 48 students from hard areas availing this facility.

Fazilia Skills Development Centre:

The aim of this project is to prevent women especially young girls from the trauma of poverty and vulnerability. The organization has established a skills development centre to provide the women of Garhi Afghana and nearby villages with an opportunity to become self sufficient by increasing household income and to improve their living conditions in rural and isolated communities. This is the only skills development centre in the whole village and it is an all girl’s facility. The courses that are taught are English language, computer education, arts/crafts and weaving. Presently 80 girls are benefitting from this project.
